About Bernard

Bernard is a website monitoring service that notifies you of any broken link or resource which might affect your users' experience of your website.

It is a product of Combo Tech ltd, currently a one-person company run by Stephane Travostino, which during his almost 20 years of experience as a software engineer, has overseen dozens of company websites plagued with broken links and unreachable pages after yet another redesign.

Nothing is more aggravating than clicking on a result in your favorite search engine towards a page that promises an answer your exact problem, only to be presented with the dreaded 404 Page Not Found error. As the Internet grew, software engineers forgot the timeless plea from Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web: "Cool URIs don't change."
